There is a old saying, “A stitch in time saves nine.” The meaning being that if one takes that extra little bit of time to make sure everything is perfect before working, then one will save a great deal of time. Well, apparently I didn’t check my work well enough (which doesn’t really make sense given the number of times I did a test render), but some stuff ended up off of what it should have been.
Thus I have wasted nearly 22 hours of render time.
…
And now I have to fix it.
I can assure you I will be carefully checking things now.

‘22 hours of render time’
Now I’m curious what picture you rendered! Of course another possibility is ya using a performa 3600 to render the project :)

Reminds me of the 15 yrs ago when I worked at a newspaper. It was my first Saturday night putting together the Front page. I had only worked there for two weeks but had proven that I was good enough to go solo. Anyhoo — nobody told me that I had to change the price of the front page of the paper to the Sunday price. All $1.50 Sunday edition papers went out that weekend for only .50¢. — Needless to say, I learned to measure twice and cut once.

Sucks man. I know how you feel though…I remember losing a good two days of rendering time back in high school once. That was fun.
If you were rich, I’d say get yourself a RenderCube (http://www.rendercube.com).

Holy heck, I want one of those RenderCubes.
I should sum total the number of hours it has taken for me to finish this one project. I swear it would be over 48 hrs worth…
