Dont get me wrong, they are nicely crafted but perhaps I miss the personal touch of you. As for e-cards I would think that the 'feel' of the application would be kind of 'personal'. Of course I do understand that the concept of an icon is that it should be univocal and therefore we seek simple and powerfull images. Another problem of course is that they have to be small. Maybe you should let go the concept of the 'shine' and take a closer look at the concept of the lil dude with the red balloon.
