Fire Pit Header

Yesterday in 3D class, we learned about some of the tools in the MOGRAPH module of Cinema 4D. After some play, I created this rather awesome look that I feel is rather reminiscent of Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis and if you are interested, I’m selling these fine leather jackets.

The Devil and Sarah Silverspoon header

Modeling Header

This previous term (term 4), the main focus of the 3d class was on creating interesting and realistic models. While I feel that my work on the pirate ship from the previous term ultimately was more rewarding and interesting (I still need to locate the final version of that file. I’m afraid it might have gone missing), the work I did this term was fun and ultimately created a more realistic pair of projects. Hit the jump for the two.

Back in the Saddle Again

Back in the Saddle

Wow. It has been far too long since I last graced these pages with content. I’m afraid the last term was a significant amount of work and I didn’t really find the time to get cracking on this. I’ll try harder to get my final project status and efforts up here, I think. My topic has changed from the last time I talked about it here, so I’m a good bit more open now!

In any case, I’m going to be uploading works from last term over the next few days, so look forward to them! Unfortunately, the project I spent the most time on, my DVD packaging for the WWII documentary “The Memphis Belle,” was taken from me by the professors and I don’t have it available to take pictures of! I’ll get imagery from that project as soon as I get it back.

Tree Grower Header

I have been working on an application to generate trees in preparation for my term project in Object Oriented Programming (flash) and Designing Physical Interfaces. It has been a lot of work and not the easiest to say the least; especially in as3. However, I recently had a bit of a breakthrough.

My First Slam

Yesterday was the first ever project slam at VFS. Arriving at 8:30 am, we had no idea what was going to happen except that we would need to produce a commercial and we would need to do it fast.

Final Project?!?

Secret Secret

The time for the final project has begun. After my first meeting with Sergio Toporek, I’ve moved in a totally new direction and have become very excited about my project. However, it isn’t quite something I can discuss online here (me idea, if it goes well, should be awesome), so I’m afraid I will have to go on silent runnings for a while on that topic. I shall still keep ye folks updated on things and so forth and will be keeping journal entries; just won’t be making them visible for people to see. Upon completion of the project, I’ll open up the documentation! Please look forward to it.
